Ammonite Fossil Necklace

Ammonites became extinct roughly the same time as the dinosaurs. Colors and size vary but here instead of a whole or half, is a slice. I found this and a couple more at a recent mineral and gemstone show. I think it has the cool factor about it. Definitely a conversation piece.

Artisan Handcrafted Process

I use the stained glass Tiffany style method of copper foiling glass, gemstones and vintage items, I then free form copper and hand solder various metals, (tin, copper, silver, brass) then apply patina and finish with a hand polish.
