Multicolored Butterfly Necklace

Madagascar Butterfly wing has the most brilliant of colors. Encased in glass, there are two sides, two different patterns though same colors. Unusual really in the butterfly world, most are different, more reserved, on one side than the other. 

Note: All of the buggy wings I place are ethically sourced. That means they were not taken on the wing but had expired naturally.

Artisan Hand Crafted Process

I use the stained glass Tiffany style method of copper foiling glass, gemstones and vintage items, I then free form copper and hand solder various metals, (tin, copper, silver, brass) then apply patina and finish with a hand polish.
