Labradorite Kaleidoscope Necklace
Almost everything I make has a story woven into it. My piano key necklaces, magnifying glass pendants, and pressed flower jewelry were all created from an experience. My kaleidoscope pendants are no exception.
Years ago, a dear friend shared a tender moment with me about how her little granddaughter would curl up on her lap and happily play with her Nanna's necklaces. As she spoke, her eyes lit up, I could see that my friend cherished those precious moments. That sparked an idea, to craft something a little could hold, look through and see a magical world of fractured images, light and imagination inspired all while snuggled on grandma's lap.
Though my kaleidoscope jewelry is worn for all sorts of reasons and occasions, my friends little granddaughter was the inspiration.
Labradorite inset handcrafted and formed with faceted glass to create the lovely kaleidoscope pendant.

Artisan Handmade Process
My medium is the Tiffany-style stained glass technique, combining glass, gemstones, and other materials using the copper foil method. My metalwork features a blend of tin, silver, copper, and brass, all safe for sensitive skin. Instead of torch soldering, I use a soldering iron, which gives me more flexibility to create a diverse variety of organic designs.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions—I’m happy to help! Thank you so much for considering my work. ~Contina
